Bifocal Hexagon Eyeglasses Original Case | B&L Arco 1/10 - 12K GF Spectacles | Ornate Rims and Temples | Collectible Office Decor
Such a beautiful collectible set!
Bausch & Lomb hexagon shaped 1/10 bifocal lenses with Arco 12K GF rims and temples sporting an ornate scroll design!!
Bridge reads "B&L 1/10 12K GF" each of the temples is impressed "ARCO".
Brown lettering on the yellow lid that reads:
"Harris & Hogshead, Chattanooga, Tennessee"
Approximate Measurements:
Frame width: 4-11/16"
Frame height: 1-9/16
Lens width: 1-11/16"
Bridge: 13/16"
Between Arms: 4-1/4"
Temple length: 4-1/2"
Condition:
Best seen in photos, rims have a lovely gold tone with some tarnish toward temple closer to the earloops.
Surface scratches on front and back of both lenses, consistent with age and use, NO chips in either lens that I can find.
Some discoloration and cracking to the plastic earloop covers and nosepieces, but display lovely with it's vintage charm.
Green felt lined vinyl case opens and snaps closed vvery nicely with only minor surface scratches or marks - still in beautiful condition.
