Vintage 1950's Ceramic Angel Fish Ashtray The National Hotel Miami Florida 8.75". The gentleman I received this from said it was bought by his mother from The National Hotel in Miami Beach Florida in 1954. I did a little research and the Hotel has been around since 1939. Very nice large Art Deco style ashtray having a black ground with central raised white Angel Fish, bubbles and gilt accents. Measures 8.75" high x 8.75" wide x 1.25" high, 11" diagonal.

Good overall solid condition with shiny glaze, does have areas of crazing, gilt loss, a few tiny nicks/chips to top inner rim area of ashtray and on small surface ship to underside commensurate with age and use, (all mentioned areas shown in last several photos)
