Vintage abstract Matador painting on black velvet mid century framed 20.75” x 17”

For your consideration is this cool vintage mid century abstract matador painting on black velvet.

Appears to be in excellent condition; however, there are shallow depressions where the top layer of velvet seem scraped away and lots of other scuffs to the unpainted velvet. But these seem intentional to add texture and drama to the work. If they were random damage, I'd expect to see tears in the velvet and scrapes across the painted areas. But please see pics and make your own determination. 

It measures about 20.75” x 17” framed and will weigh about 4 lbs packed safely.  Local pickup near Boston welcome. Thank you!
