You will recieve a small surprise: We grow our guppy grass with: assorted neocaridina shrimp, assorted colored baby mysetery snails, pink or assorted colored ramshorn snails, or bladder snails. We also cultivate healthy live blood worms, a wonderful treat for fish. If any of these creatures bother you, do not purchase from us!!

****Information on Plant Care****

Guppy grass, (Najas guadalupensis), is a fast-growing water column feeding plant that removes heavy metals, toxins, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates from the water while producing oxygen. It consumes almost every free nutrient in the tank, giving little opportunity for algae growth. It can be free floating, anchored down, or rooted into substrate. It's one of the best plants for barebottom tanks! Guppy grass is loved by small prey fish, bettas, fish fry, and shrimp. They will cling, sleep, and eat in it.🌿

****Shipping****

We only ship Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to avoid weekend layovers!!
💌Guppy grass will be wrapped in wet paper towels, placed in a fish bag, then placed and shipped in an insulated bubble wrapped mailing envelope with loose insulation packed inside.The envelope will have a sticker stating "Live Fish" on the outside for extra care. Guppy Grass is EXTREMELY sensitive in shipping. It is possible that the plant will turn brown by arrival. Upon arrival, please put in water and give adequate light as soon as possible. Liquid fertilizer is also advised to help jump start it back to life, but not required. Please give the plant a few weeks to a month so it has time to recover and come back to life. The leaves may melt at first, but once the plants have adjusted, new leaves will grow and it'll take off and grow fast!

****DOA FOR PLANTS****

In the event of guppy grass arriving dead:

Take photos of the dead guppy grass and send them to me. They will be completely brown and the stems will be completely soft. I will be able to tell if the guppy grass is completely dead by the photos given. Photos must not be blury and taken within 30mins of delievery.

I will guarantee live arrival via refund for DOA of guppy grass, with the following restrictions:

Live arrival is guaranteed for up to 30 minutes after delivery.If you can't get your guppy grass out of the mailbox within 30 minutes of delivery, please arrange to have your package held at the post office or have a neighbor get it out of the mailbox. Mailboxes in the sun can easily reach 150°F / 65°C or more inside. In the winter guppy grass tends to die off in nature and grows back in the spring. So I can only guarantee 30 minutes of exposure to extreme temperature.
