Upcycled flannel shirt in shades of orange and brick red with Grateful Dead dancing bear tee shirt graphic appliquéd on the back. Shirt is by Old Navy, it’s their “boyfriend shirt” which is oversize. Tag says size XS but fits more like a size S/M. Check measurements to be assured of a good fit:
40” bust
27” back of neck to hem
30.5” back of neck to sleeve edge.
Applique is attached with fusible web and then zigzag stitched around the edges 1/8” inside the fabric edges. Yoke seam and plaid pattern are not perfectly aligned, so I chose to align the applique with the plaid.
