*Pierre Michel Marie Alcide Lafon de Camarsac (1821-1905)

Photographer active in Paris. 

As early as 1855, Lafon de Camarsac introduced a technique of enamelling and highlighting photographs. Member of the "Société Française de Photographie" in 1863, he set up his studio on rue de la Paix in 1866 where he produced numerous portraits of Second Empire period personalities:
