In 2007, the USPS issued a Star Wars Commemorative Sheet on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the release of the first installment of the classic space saga.  The first movie has evolved into a series of films depicting the epic story of good versus evil against a backdrop of planets and stars, exotic and bizarre creatures, knights and foes, heroic acts and betrayals.

This stamp features The Imperial Force Stormtroopers.  These soldiers represent the most visible extension of Imperial oppression.  They are deployed in overwhelming numbers to far-flung planets of the Empire, often as Snowtroopers in frigid climates and Scout troopers in forests such as Endor.

It is framed in a 3 inch by 4 inch wood frame.  Please indicate what color frame you prefer - white, black, or walnut. If not specified, walnut will be sent.

This framed stamp is sent anywhere in the United States for free!

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. This stamp has been designated as Scott Number 4143o.
