As a member of the United States Navy, I was fortunate to have the honor of visiting Iwo Jima, also known as Iwoto, on 2 separate occasions. The first time was in 2014 when I was selected to the rank of Chief Petty Officer and we flew there from my home base NAF Atsugi Japan. The second was couple years later during work-ups prior a deployment, in which I spent a week there. On both occasions I obtained sand from Invasion Beach near Mount Serubachi. Being that access to the island is severely restricted, here is your chance to own a piece of a historical place.
