Two Lassie books: The Mystery of Bristlecone Pine, 1967 Whitman, and Lassie Come-Home, a 1975 printing of the picture book version of Eric Knight's original Lassie story from Grosset Dunlap.

Here is a pair of Lassie books for fans of the character. One is a picture-book edition of the original Eric Knight story, Lassie Come-Home. The second is a Whitman TV Adventure adaptation of the American Lassie TV show.

The Whitman item:

The wrap-around painted cover is clean and bright and really pops. There is minor wear on the exterior. The spine is fully intact and tight, as are the endpapers. The front matter and text block are clean and unmarked throughout, and despite the relatively low quality of the paper, the pages are off-white and largely unfaded or tanned.

The picture book:

Excellent condition. There is a light pencil mark on the cover - difficult to see - and some light crayon markings as well. There is an  inscription on the inside front endpaper / half title: "Karan from Great Gam Aug. 1979". Otherwise the interior is clean, tight, and unmarked throughout. The exterior shows minor shelf wear but is generally good and bright.

All books are individually evaluated and photos are of the actual book.
