Eschenbach Galilean for Distance 4x 23mm Binoculars

Very good and functioning fine.  These are only for viewing items from 3 feet away to infinity and are not for up close viewing or reading.  Rather scarce 4x magnification model #1634-4 for distance viewing from Eschenbach, a premier German manufacturer of vision aids and binoculars.  These 4x magnification binoculars feature small, lightweight scratch free lenses on a straight eyeglass frame and allow for hands-free viewing while offering a bright image.  They consist of a plus objective lens and a minus ocular lens.  Great for bird or nature enthusiasts, hunters, fisherman, or the visually impaired.  Also, wonderful and unobtrusive for theater, opera, sporting, and similar events.
 
The frame is easily adjustable to allow for inter-pupillary distances from 54mm to 74mm; may be locked in place by tightening the two screws for each bar.  Frame also features cold bend wire-core 150mm temples and an adjustable open saddle bridge.  Light, yet substantial, solid design with smooth, effortless focusing.  Includes Eschenbach black zippered pouch and print of instructions in English.  As shown.  Made in Germany.  Insured post.
