Tom Yum is one of the most famous Thai dish. It’s a subtle blend of hot and sour with citrus overtones derived from lime juice and kaffir lime peel. It can be made with chicken, pork, fish, mixed sea food or even “ruammitr” (mixing all possible ingredients together), but variation with shrimp (or Tom Yum Goong in Thai language) must be one of the best known Thai dishes abroad. Whether you are cooking for friends eating out at Thai restaurants, food courts or street food sellers, the aromas and flavours are unforgettable.
