Sweet Pickles books are a series of children's books by Ruth Lerner Perle, Jacquelyn Reinach, and Richard Hefter and published by Holt, Rinehart & Winston. The books were published in 1977 and went out of print in the mid-1990s. The books are set in the fictional town of Sweet Pickles and are about anthropomorphic animals with different personalities and behavior. The front end-papers of the books portrayed the 26 characters, and the back end-papers portrayed a map of the town. The series' name is a pun; in each book, the main character gets into a "pickle" (a difficult situation) because of an all-too human personality trait. The Sweet Pickles books were read in various episodes of the CBS television series Captain Kangaroo. These books were advertised with television commercials and a catchy jingle. If tracking of you?re package is desired; The package will ship Global Express Mail (EMS) for an average of 3-5 days. This method of shipment is far more expensive, but is the buyer?s option.

Upon actual shipment: The buyer will be subject to either additional invoicing, should the actual shipment cost more than quoted, or a refund should it be less. Return Policy will be as follows: I will accept returns under the following conditions,
1. That I be notified within 15 days of auction end that you wish to return the item and the return reason is due to my error.
2. That the item be sent to me in the condition that I sent it to you. If the item was damaged by the United States postal service, please see shipping and handling policies, as I am not responsible for any damaged packages that were not insured!
Also, any item returned will be done so at the buyer's expense. I will refund the total auction price of the item, not shipping and handling, unless the item was insured. |
