Antique Porcelain Beer Stein Hand Painted Gallant Scene w/Lithophane c.1890s

Antique German porcelain beer stein made around 1880s - 1890s. Nice hand-painted over transfer outline picture of a gallant scene between a peasant girl and gentleman.

The inscriptions reads:

"Manchmal zufrieden,
Zuweilen betrübt,
Häufig betrunken,
Aber immer verliebt"

(Sometimes happy,
Sometimes sad,
Often drunk,
But always in love.)

Good lithophane showing a tavern scene with a man and a woman.

Ornate pewter lid with a woman's face on the thumblift. The lid is engraved with the original owner name:

"Johann - J.v.T.- Tiefenmoser"

Excellent condition with minimal age-related wear.  It is 8.25" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity
