After purchasing this service, we will forward you our shipping address to send your non-working CPU PCB set (should look similar to the one pictured) to. You pay one price and that's it, no hidden charges or fees, and we cover the return shipping (U.S. customers only). If you need to have the power supply board serviced and upgraded, we do those also!!! Here's what is included with this service:1) Your board will be repaired back to working status. Once everything is completed, the board will be run overnight to make sure all is good prior to shipping back to you.
2) All original single wipe IC sockets will be replaced. That's over 35 new dual-wipe IC sockets!! We only use Pace soldering rework stations to assure that your board won't be messed up during the IC socket replacement process.
3) If ceramic resistor packs are currently installed on the boards, those will be replaced with new encapsulaed resistor packs. No more intermittent issues from those again!!
4) The four electrolytic capacitors in the sound section will be replaced, as these have been failing more often due to their age.
5) We cover the return shipping if you're in the U.S., so you only pay for the shipping to us.
Everything remains as it was from the factory, only with newer parts for reliability.
