Vintage Mobil Oil Promo Advertising Lighter – Northwest Commercial Sales NEW NOS NIB

 

Circa 1970 Mobil Oil “Northwest Commercial Sales” Promotional Advertising Lighter, Mint Condition

 

Barlow® "Wind Proof" and “Design B7 Japan” stamped on the bottom.

 

Condition:

·      New Old Stock (NOS) in original Barlow box.

 

·      Condition as manufactured in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s as a promotional give-away item in the Northwest district of Mobil Oil Commercial Sales (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, and some of Montana and Nevada).

 

·      The blue and red paint in the embossed Mobil name is excellent / mint.

 

·      Polished surfaces on the edges all the way around.

 

·      Finely brushed surfaces on the front and back.

 

·      No dings, dents, or other damage.

 

·      Hinge is solid and cap closes flat against the case.

 

·      A flint is installed.

 

·      The cotton-type material for holding lighter fluid is dry (never filled).

 

·      The wick is bright white, unused, never lit.

 

Lighter Size:  approx. 2-1/4” tall by 1-1/2” wide by ½” thick

Box size:  approx. 2-1/2” tall by 1-3/4” wide by 5/8” thick

Weight:  6.0 oz. (not packaged for shipment)
