This brooch is from the 1970s and was made by the Australian company BARCS. It is well-made and features a central cabochon studded with glittering crystals. The gold plate or tone (I am unsure which) is in pristine condition, and the brooch looks like it has never been worn. So many textures are incorporated into this brooch, giving it incredible detail and lots of shimmers. The brooch measures 5 x 3 cm and is of a decent size. Much nicer in real life than depicted in the pictures.
