Evidently a very rare if not one of a kind art glass replica of a medieval weapon used during the middle ages on the European continent.  I am unsure as to the country of origin or the artist who actually created the piece. Several years ago upon purchase I was told it had some age to it, I would anticipate it was created sometime in the middle of the 20th century.  The color is a clear amber hue and both the ball and the handle are hollow in the very center. The ball has applied points resembling the mace and the handle has applied  rigaree for decoration.  The piece measures just under 17” long with the widest area of the head 4 1/2” to the end of the points. although hollow, the glass item is still quite heavy weighing almost 3 pounds unpacked.  In very good original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs that I can tail. I will mention and as pictured I believe one of the points on the head has been ground/polished possibly due to a chip. I will also mention that the opposite end of the handle possibly has been ground from a chip or polished at production.  All in all a very interesting piece certain to strike up a conversation! please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.

Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.

Thank you.
