Star Wars - DL-X2 PROTOTYPE action figure 2002 - hand painted

This comes from personal collection the model maker that actually designed the DL-X2 sculpt from which this figure came. Hasbro gifted it to him after production.

I am not able to gauge from where in the production process this prototype comes, I can only estimate early in the process. The front door on this original design opened to a small compartment, this open door concept was abandoned in the production design.

No date stamp. Minor crack visible (see center in final pic for details) 

All pieces are genuine.
