Ford GPW recessed head body plate bolts.


Correct for the FORD GPW ww2 jeep from approx May 42 to the end of production.


18 bolts inc washers are required. I’ll include an extra bolt for those who want to experiment removing head markings.


Used on-

- transmission plate to floor, x either 8 or 10 bolts used, pending more research.

- master cylinder inspection plate x5 bolts

- drivers seat to floor (NO wood spacer on a GPW) x3 bolts.



These bolts have the correct spanner/wrench size of 7/16, recessed head and flange around the bolt head.


Originals are 5/8 long with a captive external tooth washer. These are 3/4 long and have loose external tooth washers and serrations under the head. When fitted, the extra 1/8” and serrations are not an issue/noticed. The hardness tick markings can easily be removed.


Fasteners offered are finished in black phosphate. Washers are black phosphate but may be silver zinc.


These are near indistinguishable from originals when fitted as seen in the image with original next to these repro bolts.


I recessed bolts for the GPW hood hinge will be in a separate listing.
