Description:
- A spirit kettle is a silver teapot or kettle that sits upon a stand and has a burner beneath it. It is aptly named ‘spirit’ kettle because the burner often used spirits to fuel a flame.
- It has 2 keys which are both fixed on silver chains with a hinged bracket at the front to allow the kettle to be tipped forward to pour and a locking point at the rear.
- The spirit/tea kettle comes off the stand by pulling out the 2 keys that secure it in place.
