Here is an excellent example of the 5x7 Folmer & Schwing R.B. Cycle Graphic folding camera.  This is a very unusual model at it seems to have been a transitional model between the Reversible Back Cycle Graphic and the Rotating Back Cycle Graphic.  It has an early Folmer & Swing nameplate only with no mention of Eastman Kodak.  The serial number of 10,5xx dates the camera to around 1900-1905 period.  The camera is in excellent conditon for its age.  The leather covering is in great shape with only some small places with wear.  The strap is original and excellent shape.  The front standard is completly different from later Cycle Graphic cameras with alot more brasswork and controls.  The back rotates fine but it can also be removed to put on another back such as a focal plane shutter accessory.  This back has another feature which I have never seen before.  The ground glass can also be removed by flipping two levers on the top and bottom.  I have no idea what the purpose of that was for but it is original to the camera.  I checked the bellows and did not see any light leaks but only extended them a little and did not try to extend them fully as I did not want to damage them.  They look great as they are and are original.  I did fully extend the triple extension base and it extends fine.  The lens is a 8 1/2" Plantograph.  The shutter does fire but sometimes hangs open.  The diaphragm works.  I did not test out the controls on the front standard so I don't know if they work correctly.  The camera has a beautiful mahogany interior with very attractive brasswork throughout the camera.  It makes a wonderful display piece for ones collection and with a little work looks like it could be used again.  Please check out the many pictures above and I have also included a movie of the camera so you can see it.  Check out my other auctions which also include a 5x7 Graflex Focal Plane Shutter that would fit on a camera such as this.  I can combine shipping on multiple purchases.  Buyer pays shipping and the shipping quote includes insurance.
