This is a one of a kind handmade, handsewn dress in a classic, figure-conscious fit and flare style with short sleeves, a nipped-in-waist, and voluminous skirt, finished with accents of lace and pearlescent buttons. It is definitively pre-1980s, and may date to as early as the 1930s, due to the classic prairie style traditional cut. The fabric is a relatively heavy pure 100% cotton weave. I could not discern the fabric content of the lace trim. A button expert could tell you more about the buttons.
