How to Fix a Smelly Green Pond and Maintain Clarity and Freshness with PondKing:*
Dissolve the appropriate amount of tablets (as per instructions below) in a bucket of pond water and distribute evenly over the pond surface with a watering can or sprayer from land or by boat, stirring regularly before applying for fastest results.
- Ponds with filters: Clean out filters prior to first dose for best results. See a difference after 2 weeks when used as directed.
- Ponds without filters: Remediation will take longer than 2 weeks. Double the maintenance dose (below) is recommended.
- Normal maintenance of a healthy pond: Apply 1 tablet per 2 months per 1320 USGal of water volume.
- Fix bad cases of algae, slime and weeds: Shock treatment is recommended with 1 tablet per week for 4 to 5 weeks every 7 days until the water is clean. Then resume normal maintenance dose every 2 months.
*Bacterial treatments take time to work. Notice a difference after two weeks of treatment. Ponds without filters will take longer.
