"OSTLAND" overprinted Hitler 1pf, 3pf & 8pf tied by RIGA 7.VIII.42 "adapted" cds's of the Latvian SSR (all Russian text and star were removed), this "provisional postmark" was used for short period in 1942 before introducing the German postmarks at the end of 1942, fine commercial local cover with scarce postmark and nice three-color franking, see scans carefully for condition.
