Antique Campaign Picture Frame.

Circa 1910

Incredible early 20th century travelling picture frame. Simple yet elegant design made out of wood with swivelling cover/foot support, It is really ingenious way it was made. You might say it is primitive in a way, but that is the whole beauty of it. It is one of a kind, I don’t think I or even you will ever see another frame like that, made with love and passion by a skilled person.

If we could only know the history behind it, perhaps the frame was made for a loved one that was sent to the Western front or sat over a cottage fireplace….
