This is a Rare & Original Signed Mixed Media Woodcut Lithograph by Viggo Holm Madsen (1925–1998) who is a Listed Artist in Many Indices throughout the World. This is an Original Mixed Media Lithograph of Museum Size & Quality Measuring Almost 3 Feet High. It Depicts a Beautiful Multimedia Titled "Neighbors" that was done in Meticulous Detail from the Time Period. His works have been exhibited throughout the world & Held in Corporate & Private Collections. This is one of Madsens finer works Numbered 3 of 5 that were ever made. It is all Original and has waves throughout the paper from embossing and Natural Age as shown in the photos. This comes from a Private Collection which makes it very Rare Due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and has some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition & All shown in the photos.
Viggo Holm Madsen was a prolific artist, known for his printmaking and dedicated to experimentation using woodcut, embossing, etching, oil, watercolor and batik. He was a professor of Art at Nassau Community College for more than 20 years and was the president of the New York State Art Teacher's Association.
His work has had over 200 solo exhibitions in the United States & Europe
