Condition: 7/10. Slight outlines from previous numbers and logo on the front. Although faint, this can be seen in closeup photos. This jersey has been worn and washed likely hundreds of times, so it has shrunk. Great display piece, but if you plan on wearing feel free to ask for measurements. Jersey has been beautifully restored by Bill Henderson’s “The Dream Shop”.

This Royals Inaugural Season jerseys has been done up to team specs as a Lou Piniella 1969 road jersey which was a style only used for 2 years before they ditched this beautiful script font and opted for a block “Kansas City” logo on their road jerseys. Piniella led the Royals in hitting in their first season, and earned Rookie of the Year honors.
