19th Century Grand Tour Painted Spirit Bottle

Circa 1890

Incredibly lovely continental painting of Monks. Green, long neck glass spirit bottle with oil painting to one side.

Beautifully executed painting depicting what appears to be Monks of Dominican Order. Group of nine Monks and a barber, having their daily shaving gathering in decorated period room.

As you can see on the photos provided, the painting is showing imperfections but nevertheless it's rather rare example and did remarkably survived intact throughout the years.

Painting is approx: 17cm by 13.cm 

Bottle is approx: 34cm by 17cm

In used condition showing signs of wear and tear with imperfections. Scratches and chips to paint, bottle in good condition.
