The concert was canceled due to the poor health of singer and lyricist Ian Curtis, who committed suicide ten days later on May 18, causing the surviving members of the group to regroup as the New Order. The exquisitely pure black and white poster features the iconic cover art created by legendary graphic designer Peter Saville for the band's 1979 debut album, Unknown Pleasures.
