These lenses are Category 3 - HIGH sun-glare and good UV protection (AS/NZ 1067:2003) - compatible with standards in US and Europe; to suit all Maui Jim sunglasses model 249-2M Black Coral; size 65mm. Will also fit other 249 Black Coral sunglasses of different colours.

Maui-Jim's SuperThin Glass for clarity and practically scratch-proof.
The lenses are POLARIZED, to cut blinding glare from light reflecting from horizontal surfaces:
- roads - turning glossy looking roads to matt looking roads
- water - allowing you to see straight through water, not the sun reflections off the waves
- snow - allowing you to see the mounds, pits and undulations in the snow.
- eliminate car dashboard images reflecting off your wind-screen, giving you crisp clear driving vision.
The lenses have a slight “shutter” or ‘bi-gradient’ mirror coating on the front surface, to give it a shine and metallic look towards the TOP and BOTTOM of the lens. This mirror coating further reduces glare from the sky, and reflected glare from the ground, while leaving the middle with crisp and sharp undisturbed vision
There is an Anti-Reflection (multi-coating) coating on the back surface of the lens, to improve contrast and eliminate glare from your own face, or from unwanted lights behind you (only the best/top-shelf lenses have this feature).
The lenses' colour is Grey.
The lenses are 100% authentic: with ‘Maui Jim’ engraved on the front surface of the right lens.
