This beautiful original oil on canvas board (16x12) was painted by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). Londraville lived and worked in the Los Angeles area and this was painted in the 1950’s. It has been professionally cleaned, varnished and set in a deep antique gold frame. Londraville studied under the famous Russian American Master Nicolai Fechin and was a MGM scenic artist painting movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted on site (plein air) as is represented in this painting. See his full bio on my website www.albertlondraville.com. This painting was purchased directly from the successor trustee for the Albert Londraville Trust who documented the provenance in the COA.
