Up for sale here is a beautiful painting of a riverside winter scene. Frame has been rebacked but is certainly a similar age as the artwork, details of painting written on rear attribute it to Gusty Goetchums, who painted it in Ulster, Pennsylvania in October of 1890. Lovely look at the Susquehanna River and some beautiful details. Size of painting shown is 17x11 and frame total size is 23x17. One edge bent inward slightly on left side as shown, I'm sure it could be fixed if one desired. A lovely 130-year-old addition to any art collection.
