THERE ARE FIVE PROOF SETS IN EACH PACKAGE AND EACH SET CONTAINS A SILVER 1 RAND but ALSO has the NICKEL 1 RAND, 50 CENT, 20 CENT, 10 CENT, 5 CENT, 2 CENT AND A 1 CENT COIN. I RECENTLY OPENED A PACKAGE AND THESE ARE STOCK IMAGES SHOWING SOME OF THE SETS THAT WAS IN THE PACKAGE THAT I OPENED. THE APPEARANCE WILL VARY AND THE COINS MAY HAVE TONING THAT LOOKS GREAT, GOOD, BAD OR HORRIBLE. QUITE SIMPLY, THE APPEARANCE VARIES.
THE SILVER COINS USUALLY HAVE TONING ON THE SIDE THAT WAS FACING UPWARDS AND IN CONTACT WITH THE WHITE FABRIC. USUALLY THE OTHER SIDE DOESN'T HAVE TONING, BUT THAT CANT BE GUARANTEED. ON RARE OCCASIONS THE UNDERSIDE IS ALSO TONED AND SOMETIMES IT IS RAINBOW TONING. THE COPPER/BRONZE COINS USUALLY ARE BRIGHTER AS WELL ON THE UNDERSIDE.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU OPEN SOME OF THE SETS YOU MAY FIND THAT SOME OF THE COINS HAVE COME OUT OF THEIR SLOTS AND ARE TOUCHING OR EVEN ON TOP OF OTHER COINS. I HAVE OPENED ONE PACKAGE OF 5 SETS AND FOUND THAT 3 OUT OF THE 5 SETS WAS IN THIS CONDITION. ONE SET HAD COINS JUST BARELY TOUCHING AND 2 SETS HAD COINS HALFWAY ON TOP OF ANOTHER COIN. SINCE THE COINS HAVE RIMS IT PREVENTED ANY SCRATCHING IN MY PARTICULAR CASE. YOU MAY NOT GET SO LUCKY, OR YOU MAY GET LUCKY AND NOT HAVE ANY SETS WITH THIS CONDITION. THERE IS SOME RISK THAT THE COINS MAY BE TOUCHING AND SOME MAY HAVE UNNATRACTIVE TONING. THERE IS SOME CHANCE THAT YOU MAY GET 5 PERFECT SETS WITH INCREDIBLE RAINBOW TONING IN EACH SET. BOTH THE GOOD AND THE BAD OUTCOMES HAVE BEEN FACTORED INTO THE PRICE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE NO RETURNS ON PACKAGES THAT HAVE BEEN OPENED.

I'm excited about this because these are pristine coins from decades ago that have been stored and never handled.
