Vtg Set of 4 Handmade Liners & Garter for Longaberger Baskets Watermelon Fruit Summer.

Pattern is periwinkle blue and white checked background with scattered slices of watermelons and the word "watermelon" printed in what looks like handwritten script.

Each Item has white Grosgrain Ribbon trim and/or bow.

Set includes:

*2 Garters - 1 is 13 1/2" (relaxed flat) x 2 1/4" W 2nd is 11 1/2" x 2 3/4" Wide

*1 round liner with square bottom 7 3/4" Tall x sides are approx 4 3/4" - 5" Wide x approx 3" Wide at bottom square.

*1 Rectangular liner 16"L x 11" W x 6"D

I believe these are handmade and not made by Longaberger, but I cannot guarantee. They really seem professionally made from sewing quality.   I have not been able to find any record of this print for Longaberger anywhere.  There are no sewn in labels on any of the items. They came to me in a small box of Longaberger garters that I purchased. The other pieces were in original polybags with labels. These 3 were in a different type of polybag with no printed label. So, I really don't know. They are unique and beautiful.

Fabric is new and you can feel the stiffener that new fabric has still in it. All sewing seems to be very good quality

These come from Columbus, OH (near where Longaberger was located). These could be a set of samples for a pattern that was never put to mass production.  It's impossible for me to know..but they are very fun and pretty. It will give you a unique set of Liners :)
