RARE & fabulous Giuliano Fratti (signed on clasp with his DM mark) Art glass droplet beaded (glass beads) dangle or fringe drop necklace.  Giuliano Fratti (1906-1992) of Italy began producing buttons, buckles and belts in Milan circa 1930s-1940s. In the '50s he began creating jewels for Dior, Chanel, Worth and later in the '60s, for Pierre Cardin. He relocated to to New York in the 1950s where he continued to produce under his own name using his stylized stamp: "GM" within a circle. Quality design, materials and construction have always earmarked his work.  This necklace has multiple strands of translucent blue glass beads, decorated with little teardrop globes of art glass in fabulous multicolors.  The necklace measures about 16" in length and The drop is about 5".  There are 10 beaded dangles in the center, topped with a "double bubble" at the top made of that rich blue glass.  Amazing!  PLEASE NOTE:  Although all my jewelry listings will be marked that returns are not accepted (due to eBay's change of policy from 14 day returns to 30 days). If an item is damaged in shipment or there are any condition issues that I missed, please send me a note and a photograph.  No returns will be accepted without a photograph.   We will not accept returns because an item "does not fit" or because the buyer "changed their mind".   We only ship our jewelry in a box, so be sure to check out our other listings and our eBay store items (over 1950, all on sale).  Several pieces of jewelry will ship for the same price as one piece, or jewelry can ship with larger pieces at no extra cost.  We don’t mark up our items by a great amount, so reasonable offers only please for store items. We do have a layaway plan available for items or groups of items totaling $200 or more. I only ship internationally through eBay international shipping and they do have limits on the value of items they will ship to certain countries. I am happy to ship to third party shippers for my international clients as well, and would encourage the use of that service for any items selling for $300 or over for international buyers.   Great low starting bid, and being sold with NO RESERVE.
