A charming Antique Georgian Prattware Pottery Sponge Decorated Stag. The stag modelled lying in the grass, decorated in colourful sponged pink and green with spots and details in brown, finished with a characterful face. Mid to late 18th century.

Maximum height 11.9cm, length approximately 10.5cm, maximum width 6.5cm.

Both antlers have both losses to tips which have been re-coloured / painted. A minor flea bite to right ear tip. An old small chip to the base. A very charming piece which displays well. Please be guided by the photographs and feel free to ask any questions.
