This bolt of beautiful, high quality, homespun European fabric dates from the 1850-70. ~~ This wonderful fabric is a hand loomed, and is a lovely pale linen and cotton blend. ~ This bolt has a lovely light, floppy feel that is somewhat coarse and almost crisp like it was pressed with starch. This bolt is unused and in incredible condition! Gorgeous texture! This fabric is a medium weight with a lovely tight plain weave. There are loom ties on each short edge. Originally this fabric would have been for household use for sheeting or clothing fabric. This bolt is ideal for window treatments, table runners, pillows, upholstery etc! This could also be dyed for a beautiful effect! Machine washable over and over and over ~*~ ~ Wonderfully high quality that would be amazing for many many projects! I love knowing these linens were grown without the use of pesticides, just lovely natural fabric. ~*~ *~ ( EL894 )

MEASUREMENTS : This bolt measures about 19 inches wide by 17 yards long.

CONDITION : This gorgeous textile is in as found, unwashed condition. There are some pale storage marks on the first 3 yards of this length and I am not sure they will wash out entirely, there are also 3 small rust stains. The rest of this long bolt has a few specks but is really in quite amazing condition!!! Ideal for natural interiors. Condition reflected in the price!
