An well loved and very vibey Morales branded "Mosrite Ventures" model made by Zen-on in the 1960's. These were a very high end model at the time and were built to be much more serious guitars than a lot of the Guyatone and Teisco builds of the same era.
Medium profile multi-laminate neck (very strong) with solid carved body, it weighs just under 5kg's. Features a chrome nut with a zero fret, pronounced volute, two "Mosrite of California" branded pickups, a Vibra-matic tremolo system and aftermarket CTS pots.
Vintage cosmetic condition as pictured with a well worn finish on the body and neck. The Morales logo has worn off the headstock but the branding is still clear (based on the specs and the bridge). Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a re-wire, deep clean, fret polish and neck adjustment. The bridge was previously replaced with a modern Les Paul style bridge and the neck plate was replaced with some recessed ferrules.
