Installation does require drilling through the grab bar in order to secure the cupholder to the grab bar.
***Please keep in mind where you mount it on the grab bar as depending on the installation location it can stop you from flipping the back seat forward.****
Supports most tumblers and coozies but please check dimensions to ensure your cups/coozies fit.
