Made in France, Tournament Weighted Staunton Design, each have a felt pad on the bottom

From 1945

They have been stored in the original dovetail wood box, with original tissue paper wrap still inside.  The storage box measures 9 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 4"

They are in great condition-  one of the white pawns has small crack in the wood, one of the black knights  loose from the base.

the box is dovetail design and has some seperation

This is a beautiful estate sale find.  It appears to have been stored for years.
