I Started work at the telephone company in Seattle as a teenager - my jobs were residential installer, PBX installer, data technician, troubleshooting.  Great career!  Every garage sale and antique stores in cities we visited had phones that I just had to have over the years for our treasure room collectables.  I'm finally parting with my duplicates.  Hope this is something you would like to have.
