Vintage RAMSES -Crinoline Girl Powder Jar- Pink Satin Glass. c1930. Depression Era.

"Crinoline Girl" Powder Jar came filled with Ramses (French) body powder (empty now) and featured a frosted bowl made to represent a young woman wearing an Pink dress with a crinoline underneath. The dress is accented by bows down the front.

The lid consists of a lady wearing the gown. Her arms are by her sides. The bottom is the base of her gown, showing 2 more bows and assorted raised relief designs.

This highly presentable and collectible powder jar measures 4 1/2" Diameter × 5 1/4" Tall and would make an excellent acquisition for collectors of Depression Era powder jars, or powder jar collectors in general, or for anyone seeking an attractive powder jar to accent her vanity.

This striking figural powder jar is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. Makers mark is on base.
