You will receive exactly the Dealership Promotional car shown # 0080 or 0800.  The car was given as part of the purchase in the SAME COLOR as the buyer's REAL CAR.  (That's why there's another number stamped on the exterior of the box, as explained to us).   It means it went to a dealership because a similar car to be sold in that color was at the dealership for sale.  AMT also had the rights to make more these scale model cars than Corvettes sold and why you will see others without numbers, stamped upon the box.  Same car - just not part of the dealership experience of buying a new corvette.  

We have both dealership assigned and extra production run cars because we purchased with the intent of turning them into slot cars and later were told about the stamped number on the boxes.

We are slot car enthusiasts and these make EXCELLENT CUSTOM SLOT Cars.  *they already have posts molded into the body - the chassis is easily removed - they are made of high impact plastic NOT a converted model kit designed to be looked at.
