This amazing shaker is from Cameroon. Made of a hollowed gourd and surrounded by a weave of nut wood beads it makes a wide range of sounds and can get really loud and very soft too. There are many ways to play it. you can just shake it or play it as a drum. Handmade. An authentic piece of African ethnic music.
