Microsorum pteropus Sunrise
Microsorum pteropus Sunrise is a rare variant of Microsorum pteropus. Leaves contain a reddish-orange tint at the tips. Java fern is one of the most popular aquarium plants in the hobby. They can grow in low light conditions and a wide range of water parameters. Like other Microsorum species it is easy to propagate by splitting the rhizome. Sometimes plantlets start to grow on the leaf and if you leave these intact long enough, you'll get a plant you can detach and grow. Note that sometimes you might have the black spots under the leaves which are sporangia (reproductive organs).

Don't be surprised that sometimes plants might not have roots or roots will be minimal. After planting in the aquarium, the plant will grow new roots within a few days.
