You can also use it to check for shorts and locate open circuits, etc. The kit includes a transmitter and a receiver with flexibility, so you can trace wires even inside harnesses, conduits, behind panels, under carpets, upholstery, etc.
2. Easy to use by simply connecting the transmitter in series with the circuit or wire under test (i.e., instead of a blown fuse, through the connector, in series with an open wire, bulb socket, etc.), and scanning the circuit/wire with the tracer flex probe to find the fault point.
3. The receiving probe is made of coiled steel and can be bent to reach wires in congested areas. Operating at 9 to 42 volts DC, internally protected against surges and overloads, the flexible probe allows access to wires in congested areas
4. Flexible probe: 7-inch flexible probe can reach the wire in crowded places
5. Protection measures: internal protection against surges and overloads is provided. Built-in buzzer sound to show open or short circuit situation, with storage bag, easy to carry
