ANCIENT COFFERS AND CUPBOARDS by Fred Roe is a rare reference book, hard to find, ideal for collectors of early oak furniture. Illustrated with photographs and drawings by the author who exhibited at the Royal Academy. Published in 1902, this copy is perfectly readable but does show some signs of its age with a slight curve to the covers. Some of the photograph pages are wrinkled, the page edges have been roughly cut and one page is loose, probably a fault in the original binding process.
It measures 27 x 33 x 4 cm in red cloth binding.
You can spend a lot of money elsewhere to get a copy of this book, this one is priced to sell.
