The sign is sanded all around to a smooth finish, they are not varnished or painted but are suitable for outside use as this is real solid oak and you can indeed varnish them.

The standard font used is Berlin sans which is a nice bold font that gives an excellent engraving result.
Supplied with fixing holes pre-drilled with screws, screw cups and wall plugs. Please specify if holes are not required.
