Distilled by Ben Nevis back in 1996, this sweet, tropical single malt had been soundly maturing in Cask No 1726 – an exceptional bourbon hogshead, for over 26 years before being bottled at cask strength by the team at Limited.

Keen whisky enthusiasts will know spirit produced at Ben Nevis during 1996 is exceptional. Famed for its irresistible tropical notes.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet, tropical musk with hints of coconut, lemon, orange and lime peel

Palate: Banana chips, pineapple cubes, mixed spice and aniseed twists

Finish: A very long and lush finish, that goes on to highlight both the sweet and spice influences of the oak

We offer 17 unique, in-store Whisky tasting and education masterclasses which are available as walk-ins, for pre-booked groups or to purchase as gift vouchers. These are conducted by one of our in-house experts and are available for individuals or groups of up to 40 people. They cost from £25 per head for a beginners guide to whisky, up to £250 per head for a chance to try some really rare distillery bottlings as part of the 'Whiskies Most Wanted' class.
