This beautiful antique violin was made circa 1900. While time has gracefully worn off the outer layer of varnish on the back, revealing the instrument's natural patina, it possesses a unique charm that only age can bestow. The violin showcases a one-piece back and a shim under the fingerboard as well as a lovely medium-dark brown hue. It exudes a classic and timeless aesthetic.

Although it bears evidence of its age in the form of a small f-hole crack and a 3" saddle crack, both have been professionally repaired. The tailpiece boasts intricate inlaid abalone flowers, adding a touch of elegance to this fiddler's fiddle.

Beyond its lovely appearance, this violin delivers a pleasing tone and ample volume. Whether you're a seasoned fiddler or an aspiring musician, this instrument will inspire and resonate with your musical expressions.
